This presentation includes inspiring stories
about how terminally ill people found a sense of purpose in
their final days and reveals to caregivers how they can create
similar situations with their patients, helping patients find
purpose in their past and purpose in their present. Several
very practical suggestions are outlined.
Objectives:
- Explain tools and techniques that can be
used to give a terminally ill person a sense of purpose
through examining aspects of their past history.
- Explain tools and techniques to use
to lift patient mindsets/spirits in the very last days of
life.
