Description:
To effectively work with those who are facing the end of life,
we must first look into our own fears and values, beginning
a personal exploration into how we face dying and how witnessing
the dying of others may transform our perceptions. Issues
such as quality of life, being a burden, losing independence,
finding meaning and redefining value may be challenges experienced
by patients. This presentation invites you to examine your
perceptions and offers suggestions for helping transform the
experience of dying to one of dignity, hope and peace.
Objective:
The objective of this program is to examine your perceptions
and offers suggestions for helping transform the experience
of dying to one of dignity, hope and peace.
