Description:
This course will provide a summary of Medicare requirements for employed and contracted physicians, fraud and abuse considerations, state law issues and key physician contracting issues. Particularly in light of the new CoPs and added responsibilities for medical directors and other hospice physicians, this course will provide needed guidance to hospices in how to ensure their hospice is in compliance with federal regulations and is aware of the risk areas in terms of anti-kickback, inherent in this important relationships. The anti-kickback safe harbor will be explored.
