Description:
The viewer is introduced to the development and implementation of a QAPI Plan. Issues like structure and data elements will be discussed, as well as taking action, team member/roles, pilot studies and continued monitoring.

Objectives:

• The learner will be able to summarize each level of the hospice's responsibilities in preparing a quality improvement program.
• The learner will be able to explain how to use data elements to develop quality indicators
• The learner will be able to explain the process of using quality assessment data to inform performance improvement activities
• The learner will be able to explain the key elements in conducting performance improvement projects
