Description:
This course is designed to explore the responsibility of the
social worker in understanding their professional ethical
standards and how they relate to every day end of life care.
Explanation of why ethical considerations are important will
be discussed, as well as exploration of when the participant's
own ethics may be blurred. Participants will be encouraged
to participate in self exploration for a greater understanding
of future personal growth.
Objectives:
- Participant will explain why ethical considerations are
important to the social workers's role in end of life care.
- Participant will relate social work ethics to everyday
and end of life care.
- Participant will describe when the participant's own ethics
may be blurred.
